Vouching Copy Guidelines & Rules [Must READ]

Due to the popularity of vouching copies among sellers and marketplace members, new comprehensive guidelines must be established. The vouching copy rules previously established were somewhat contradictory and didn't maintain a strict set of guidelines enforceable equally and fairly. This is an attempt to fix it and benefit vouchers and sellers together, while ensuring quality of the vouch copy reviews and keeping them informative.

No posting a thread here unless you are posting a vouching copy profile. Absolutely no discussions allowed in any form. A seller who gave a vouch copy to a user can vouch on the QUALITY of the vouch copy review (information), not whether they left a positive review of it or not. Much like an eBay profile, these threads are for rating and displaying work, and not open for discussion.

[These are not for regular vouches for a buyer or seller. These are for requesting vouch copies only.]

Guidelines for being a voucher:

• 1500 posts
• 3 month membership
• Not blacklisted from the Marketplace
• Speaks proper English
• Give a detailed review on any vouch copy
• Have a vouch copy profile listed here (only one thread/profile per user!)
• Due to the nature of the information on each thread, a vouch copy profile thread is permanent. Any modification to the thread needs to be requested through a staff member to edit the original post after the editing duration expires. (Do not use up staff members time when requesting editing, do your work and preview your thread before you request an edit, and do not request an edit frequently or they may be ignored. Send the BB code to make it easier for staff to change it)
• All vouch copies are done completely free of charge and strictly neutral
• Linking to your vouch copy profile in your signature to increase ease of access and visibility (Optional)

Guidelines for replying to a vouch profile:

• The original poster or a seller who received vouching services
• The original poster can post a link to the thread to share their vouch copy reviews after completing a vouch (preferably)
• Sellers can optionally reply on the voucher to show their appreciation / dissatisfaction / unbiased opinion
• As a seller, replying to a user's vouch copy profile should contain a link to the vouch post (obtainable by copying the post # located in the top right corner of a post) and an overall rating on the quality of the vouch review. Optionally, you can give an opinion about what your opinion on the vouch, whether it was up to your standards or not. Any vouch review opinion or rating must be based on the quality of the vouch, not whether the vouch was favorable to the seller or not.
• Any dispute regarding the validity of a seller rating a vouch must be through a staff member. No direct discussion is permitted on the thread.

Guidelines regarding vouches:

• Vouch copies are not MANDATORY part of a selling thread unless explicitly stated so
• A voucher must post a vouch review within 72 hours of receiving the goods (If a vouch copy requires time to work, a preliminary review must be posted within 72 hours of receiving the goods then a detailed review on the results must be posted within a month)
• Receiving goods and not following through with a vouch post may lead to permanent deactivation of vouch copy profile
• Vouches may only arise from posting on the thread. No secondary forms of communication to obtain vouches (Outdated Contact Methods, PM, Email, etc)
• Any vouch copy request must link to the voucher profile thread located here or they will be deleted (or infracted)
• Any improper, misleading, copying other's or your own reviews will be deleted (and infracted/banned)
• Multiple violations of the vouch copy system may lead to permanent disabling of vouch copy profile.
• Vouches does not protect you from being banned or bypassing rules on MPGH (infracted/banned)

The following information must be displayed directly without modification in a vouch profile. Anything else is optional (decorations, images, formatting) but recommended. Replace anything in brackets [information requested] with the text requested.
