MPGH needs to get rid of the gradient

If the site got rid of the gradient, and muted the colors of all the icons, this site would look a lot prettier.

Everyone knows a pretty looking forum not only builds a userbase, but keeps it.
There is one pretty good forum that some people use that has an extremely sleek UI.

IE:
3 Basic colors, Light blue, Dark blue, and white. Only 3 colors, no gradients or any other colors.

Doesn't matter really. Most people I know from another forum consider this forum absolute shit in terms of design. And I do consider this site very ugly. It can use a UI change, and it's not even that difficult to do so.

What if they make a "design team" or something like that to help modify the UI? Or a contest for anyone to post submissions.
