What does it take to be a minion?

How stressful is it to be a minion? Does it depend on the section? What are your actual jobs and how active to you have to be? What are the technical requirements?

I see minions all over the place, but I only view them as junior mods.. how much of an effect do they have on this forum?

Being a minion isn't always stressful.

It really depends on the section I guess. You have to be pretty active to approve/delete attachments.

You also need to have a basic understanding on decompiling all hacks to check that it is safe

What about sections such as the marketplace? I also read something about ROTMG minions having a hard time, why is that?

It really does depend on the section

Also with rotmg it's the approving process with files connecting to the internet as such, We are dealing with one of those right now

The bigger and more popular the section, generally the harder to deal with. Minecraft isn't so hard because the hacks are really easy to have a look at.

The Market Place isn't that hard to deal with. There are 4 minions and all they really do is Middleman trades with the other OMM's and just close threads if they have finished the trade.

Depends on section really
Some are attachment heavy such as ROTMG or Minecraft which requires you to know how to read code
Some are post heavy such as the Marketplace, which doesnt require you to look at attachments, but rather the posts themselves
Some require heavy people skills (middlemen) which forces you to interact with all kinds of people.

The general requirements are
800+ posts
Active in the section
(idk the other reqs)

Doesnt always have to be stressful, if you keep a handle on it (like check up on it every 1-2 hours) you should have a rather clean section with only 1 thread to look at every couple hours.

Minions can close/delete/move/edit/stick posts/threads and can approve/unapprove attachments.
Minions can not give infractions.
Middlemen can not do anything (topkek)
Middlemen can view reports and solve reports.

Requirements:
Must have at least 800 posts. NO EXCEPTIONS
Must be able to test all uploaded files, for any security risks and advertisements.
Must be familiar with Call of Duty and a regular in the sections.
Must have at least 4 months in the site.
Must help the section continue to grow.
Must have proven BEFORE the applications a willingness to assist & contribute to section.
Must be able to not only uphold the rules of the site, but abide by them.
Must be EXTREMELY Active.
MUST speak English well.

Note: You can't also reveal any section's special secret or whatever otherwise you would become a Rat and lose all your MPGH rights/perks, (worse than being a CS, quite ironic because you would get CS as well).
