For any newbies asking, the avatars are randomly generated heroes from arun's own online flash game called Battletale.

It's still pretty much under development, and I figured he'd do something related to that.

Also, if you were to go and try to change your avatar, it still shows your own image. He just changed the avatar's space code to display a randomly generated character from BT.

Huge announcement MPGHians!

Due to the huge failure of BT's popularity, MPGH staff decided it was best to acquire and merge it into the MPGH universe. This new system will replace the existing game world, where players create their own characters and level up through the system to become even more powerful. The launch schedule was pushed forward by two weeks due to unforeseen circumstances with the data storage system. Some of the features haven't been rolled out yet, but fear not, the MPGH code monkeys are hard at working ironing out bugs so we can launch the entire system very shortly.

Hence, from this point forward, MPGH has been renamed MPBT. Please refrain from calling MPBT, MPGH anymore, or you will be permanently banned. MPGH is dead, long live MPBT.

Upcoming features in the coming weeks:

• Hack API to give players weapons and armors for using hacks from MPBT!
• Post to level system: Spam away and become stronger than ever.
• Attack to ban system. Tired of someone trashing you? Take them out with a click. They'll be banned for 3 days if you are successful. Feel free to use this as many times as you like. Stay a higher level to keep from getting banned.
• Thanks rewards! Any thanks or rep will reward you with gold. This is an alternate way to purchase weapons and items for the MPBT universe.
• Hacking crossover: Game Hackers rejoice! Your programs will become new weapons in the exploratory tale.
• Cocksuckers become monsters. Take them out, injure them, and be rewarded with EXP, gold, and loot.
• Seize the throne! Kill an administrator and take their rightful place as a King.
• Subsections wars, defend your homeland. Your most post forum will become your home. Take out all the users in a thread to randomly get epic loot. Back up your friends threads to prevent them from being taken out.
• Daily rewards?!? Sign in daily to MPBT to roll your chance at free potions, including look changes, name change, and more changes.
• Random monster encounters: Aside from the CS army, random monsters may appear during posting to battle. Take what is yours.
• Staff members army. Staff members can be killed for random epic loot. Beware, if you fail to kill them, you will be permanently banned.
• Categorical jobs. Reach 5000 posts in a category and be promoted to the category's job title. Your powers will grow immensely.
• And more??? Find out by joining the community!

Unfortunately, the bad side of things is that your current avatar is what you are stuck with unless you pay. I know it's painful, just look at me?!? I don't want this look, but I can't afford a re-roll. The only way to re-roll your character is to donate $50, you will be gifted a look potion re-roll. These unfortunately are one time use, and after three uses, your character is permanent. So choose carefully.
