MW2 guide.

Alrighty, let me first clarify a few things.
1. I am not the best player out there don't think I'm some uber pro.
2. This isn't a full on guide, these are merely "tips" that can help you and some possible options that you can take that i found are effective.
3. If you think your pro, cool, but this isn't a thread saying "i can beat you".

I'm gonna give a quick little guide to multiplayer, campaign would just have massive spoilers and be too long.

Ok lets first start off with the basics. I'll classify em.

1. Sniping.
a) Most important thing in sniping, don't sit in the same spot for too long.
b) Stopping power and steady aim are a must until you get "cold blood".
c) Make sure your secondary weapon is for close range.
d) Be patient. If your not sure you can hit him, don't just fire, take your time.
e) Snipers are not for close range.(obvious i know but you rly see some ppl try it).

2. Assault Rifles.
a) Each assualt rifle is different. If you like one more than the other, use it.
b) The famas is exactly like the m16 in 4.
c) Make sure you have stopping power on if you are "camping"
d) Don't be ashamed of using a noob toob. That being said, they don't blow up in short range.

3. SMG.
a) Primary goal for using smg's is short range battles.
b) Put on either cold blood, or running perks, or both.
c) Remember, they aren't assault rifles. You can't kill in 2 hits.(no camping)
d) Its best if you don't try "head-on" battles.

4. LMG
a) you can shoot down helicopters/harriers.
b) They have lots of ammo, but make sure you have a good time to reload.
c) They are underpowered, so make sure to spray.

5. Riot shield.
a) mainly used for when you use your secondary weapon.
b) Must always be in a group. If your alone, you'll get picked off easily.
c) Honestly its worthless if using for rushing. Anyone can shoot your feet, or move a foot to the side. The main use for this is snipers.
d) while your running you are completely open.

Secondary.
Machine gun pistols
a) The second pistol is your friend.
b) Honestly more useful than smg's. Especially with Akimbo.
c) don't be afraid to spray your whole clip.
d) it is possible to rush, but don't try to range.

Pistols
a) useless unless you take a deagle or magnum, even then not much use.
b) The only real reason you use these is to assasinate ppl.

Launchers.
a) aircraft only. I mean it.

Shotguns
a) first shotgun is a one-hit from a pretty good distance.
b) second shotty is amazing, but has significantly low ammo.(2 clips)
c) Shotguns are CLOSE RANGE. if you can't get close, don't bother.

Now this is my favorite part, classes for multiplayer.

1. AR class.
-AR of your choice.
-Usually you want a grenade but you semtex works also.
- Stun
-Perks:
1. Sleight of hand (pro)
2. Stopping Power(pro) Hardline if using NT's
3. Steady aim(pro)

2. SMG class
-semtex
-flash
1. Marathon
2. Either lightwieght perk or cold blood.
3. Steady aim(pro)
- DO NOT GET Scrambler perk. It lets people know your close.

3. Sniper
-Either 50.cal or First one.(intimidator i think...)
-You want the Tactical insertion(respawns you) or Claymore(way later)
1. Bling or Marathon
2.Stopping Power or Cold Blood
3. Steady Aim(pro) or Scrambler

4. My class: The beast
-Throwing knives
-Smg( i use UMP but your choice)
-G18 Akimbo
Perks:
1. Marathon
2. Cold Blooded
3. Commando(pro for no fall dmg)
-Note: yes i do get top kills(25+) with this class. But its not for everyone.
It also will take a lot of running, knifing, and spraying. Again: not for everyone.

It's also wrong.. Riot shields were meant for tactical CQC. You get one person in the front with the riot shield crouched down so he doesn't get shot in the feet and walk down a narrow hallway or path with 1-2 people standing up following right behind him. 1 person shoots over the Riot Shielder and the other covers the flanks.
