What 970 brand should I pick?

I have heard that Asus support is bad. EVGA is a pretty nice so you might want to look there. Just my opinion though

EVGA is my top brand for nVidia. Their support and warranty is second to none and they have really good value cards.

EVGA and Gigabyte would be the only brands I'd even consider.

EVGA has and pretty much always stands as the go to brand and top of the line for Nvidia cards but they normally come with a hefty price jump, you could also have a look at ASUS or Gigabyte other then that if you were intent on getting it for cheap you could try a reference or Palit.

Gigabyte has nice aftermarket fans for the GTX 970. Asus also has its aftermarket cooler. You could aso go with MSI who a well known for their quality products.
