Why can't i connect!

So i cant connect to black ops 2 multiplayer, all it says is getting data from steam for a few min then it gives me a error. i'm no VAC banned from BO2 and not banned from there servers...

i'm only VAC banned from COD:AW and COD:Mw2
can that be it?

There's two type of bans, VAC ban and TAC ban, VAC ban lets you know you're banned with a huge "VAC" sign. TAC, they just sometimes show that you cannot connect to the server, or it will say you're banned with no VAC sign. Most likely that you're banned. It done the same to me, but when I use zombies, it tells me I'm banned, not VAC banned.

That was also happening to me last night, try again and see if it works now!

yup i'm banned.....i went to zombies and it told me your perma banned. witch is wired because i have 2 hours in game and am a level 9....didnt really use hacks unless you count a stuttering fix HACKING THEN idk

Wrong, if he was TAC banned or VAC banned it will say he's permanently banned before it tried to connect. I've been banned from bo2 at least a dozen times. He may not have been banned while trying to connect, but as soon as he tried to connect to bo2 servers that's right when the ban kicked in.
