Synopsis: |
What I think of it: |
High school delinquent Seiji Sawamura is desperate to have a girlfriend, especially after being rejected by 20 girls as of late. He's afraid that he will end his life with his right hand as his only companion. Apparently, that doesn't change when one day when he wakes up and discovers that his right hand has become a girl named Midori Kasugano, who confesses that she has had a crush on him for the last three years. |
After watching Parasyte someone told me that there is another good hand anime and after reading the synopsis I thought that I must to watch it. It took me a little time to get into it because it's made in 2004 and the animation by today's stardards is pretty bad. When I hadn't watched any episodes of it I thought that it will tell a story about a girl that was hidden in protagonist's hand for his entire lifetime and decides to show up to confess, but apparently they just made it so that the girl was transferred there from her real body and to solve the case they have to find Midori's real body. |

Art: |
Sound: |
Honestly the art is okay for 2004 but it's 2015 and it hasn't really aged that well. A minor nuisance but once you get used to it you won't even notice. |
Sound isn't that good either. I can't recall any of the soundtrack right now and it's just not that memorable overall. |

Final Score: |
Seiji is high school student that tends to cause trouble in school and get into figths but damn he's good at fighting. He can take 10 men at once with his right hand only. That's just his way of life but then one day his hand, "Devil's Hand", gets replaced with a miniature female body. Seiji must stop fighting, because after all he can't hit others with a girl in his hand instead of what it used to be. Seiji finds this a nuisance and wants to get rid of Midori and return her to her real body, not only to be able to fight again but also as a favor to Midori who has had to change her way of life. But how can that be done? |
The comedic value of this show is just great. It feels really different from all the moe ecchi shit love come(ラブコメ;plural) that they put out every season nowadays. I wouldn't even call this much of an ecchi show anymore but I know that it's just because I've gone dead with all the "plot" series that I've followed for last few years. |
