re-install the OS to windows 8.1
When you buy a computer new it comes with a bunch of extra shit that is not needed. A clean install of windows with all updates installed, you should be good. Oh and don't use Norton Antivirus it will cause issues. If you must use any antivirus I suggest Avast.
