I HAVE A FIX.

1. Right click on the CombatArms_Direct.exe.
2. Select 'Properties'.
3. Un-check 'Read-only'.
4. Click apply, then ok.
5. Create another shortcut.
6. Copy it to your desktop.

Congradtulations! Combat arms starts the old way again!

Hey, I right clicked the "old" desktop icon....open folder location...right click Combat Arms_Direct...and create a desktop shortcut, I'm on Vistax64 so I then right click and run as administrator...........It works like he said....that is it launches game the old way, NOT through the website....HOWEVER, after clicking " Game Start " it does open mpgh and then game doesn't start ? It may be because I'm already logged into mpgh...it may be because it could be patched....any info would be appreciated,
