My chat not working any more?

After I installed 11zero11's menu, when I type in chat no one can see it. I can see it, but no one else does. After I removed all files, it worked. But now it doesn't work even after removing them. No idea why this is happening. Any help?

You have proof from someone else not being able to see it or you are just assuming no on can see the text? Can you see your own messages or do they just disappear or never show up? @aykyle

My friend said she couldn't see my chat. So could other friends. But when I asked a random lobby if they could see my text, one guy said "Nope" which I assume was sarcasm. But I can see it and everyone else's. Also, I can only communicate via text messages or SC messages.
