Million Dollar Question.

OK, so I am going to replace a PS4 on an account, and I don't know how I am going to slip it by my parents....

Do I:

A. Tell my parents that I decided to buy a PS4 with all the money I have earned.

- Pros: Parents won't get suspicious of my dodgy dealings...
- Cons: What if Mum says "No don't buy it, that's a waste of money", and I'm stuck with no PS4....

B. Tell them I won it in a competition, and code up a fake web page. (keep in mind I can code very well...)

- Pros: Won't get grief for getting it, as I have not spent money on it, and it came free. Also I can get anything else with it for free e.g. controller, game.

- Cons: Mum might get suspicious, what if parents start looking into my dodgy dealings?

C. Any suggestions?

Say that you won it in a competition, and as you said make a page. As in suspision? What about it? If they ask show the page to them, I doubt they will go to fbi for a ps4 unless they are crazy

Yeeeah, no. If you got the money yourself (Via a job, or you found it on the ground), no parents involved, it's legally your possession. Your parents aren't legally allowed to take it.
