That's disgusting. Granted it's probably just caramelized sugar, but still.
Gonna try to reduce it or cut it to a can / week.

Anyway, fast food is bad and we still eat it from time to time, so are soft drinks. Not a big deal

I don't drink coke, the only soda/pop I drink is MD and even that is like one or twice a month.

Let's be truthful. Despite the topic of "sugar is toxic", there's also other substances that can harm your body.
Water can kill you too when you drink it too much, just like anything else you drink, so there is no point of like "I drink coke once a month" - even the juices you purchase from grocery store can kill you.. What's even safe anymore?
All we drink, eat is harming us in one way or another, without you knowing it, or you knowing it.

That is true. The recommended amount of water intake is about 6-8 glasses of water. This is to facilitate the amount of water intake and outtake.

In both ways, too much sugar, and too much water can harm you.
Sugar as we all know can cause Diabetes.
In comparison, water can cause intoxication.
Sugar is also a fuel for cancer. It can cause heart diseases, and so forth.
Answering your juice statement, the reason why juice is not as healthy is because it's not real.
When you buy a drink, there is a reason why there is a nutrition fact as the label. This states the amount of sodium, sugar, etc...
The required amount of sugar for men is about 35g, and women is 27g.
Not a lot, because a pop can itself is greater than that.
When you say, what is safe? Water is suitable. Unless you decide to overdo yourself and drink litres among litres.
Eating fruits is better than drinking juice. As you state "all is harming us", which is false.
The difference between sugar from fruits is that some of the nutrients is absorbed for good. Excess amount of sugar is converted into fat.
Hence we get our heart diseases and etc.
