SOTW #28 Entry - Mayhem

I just realized the deadline for SOTW was today, I got on Photoshop and bombed the whole sig with effects, c4ds, filters, smudging, adjustment layers and now here's my outcome - CNC & Rate if you want.

Nice job but something is wierd about that c4d in the middle , it looks too sharp to me.

C4D doesn't mix with the sig yo.

I like what you are trying to do, but it just isn't working. The C4D needs to be smaller and more centrally placed, and some colour balances to be added to give the piece some contrast. The background needs a slight radial blur so all focus is on the C4D and so it looks like everything is comming out from it. Text isn't bad, looks like a distraction point at the moment though, get rid of all the text except of abstract, place it in the middle, and give it a explosive effect. It would also look suprisingly cool if you made the C4D a bright colour, almost white, then did all different shades of colours comming outwards, while darkening them. Then the fusion with the text and piece would look sick.
