Cheap laptop I can get

At the moment i'm searching for a decent laptop that's thin, light and it has to be powerful to run some normal apps like Photoshop (no Pentium shit)

Can anyone suggest a laptop like that? My budget is $200-$300

That is a miserable budget, you won't get anything worthwhile for that, save up. And since you're in 9th grade, tell your parents about that programming class and how you'll need a decent pc and how usefull a good laptop would be to you. They should agree. Just act mature.

I think that he should negociate with his parents, if it's because he can't afford it, the financial support at the school will see his grades and how he was accepted to that programming club thing, they'll probably pay a bit, I don't think it's serious to buy such a backwards machine. Thoughts?

Actually, I didn't think of that and that's his best bet.
If you insist on the budget and don't want to talk reason into your parents, go with a chromebook, they fit all your requirements.

It's not that bad .. It actually runs Windows 8.1 fine without much issues . Has a display mode , Plays a few games optimally , Touch Screen . CNET gave it a 3.5 / 5 in 2013/14 .

Hey OP do check it out , the Lenovo website may say its over your budget (It hasn't changed at all since release lmao) , but check out your local stores . Saw it at my Local Store at 2314.75 Swedish Krona ( About 285 USD according to Google ) - Pretty Decent

Well it's fast, it's light, thin, it can do text editing, presentations, excel, everything you would need at school.

2.) Is light and thin
3.) Great for carry around
4.) Is in his budget
5.) Runs most android apps
6.) Great for his starter programming classes

I don't know what your aiming for here, but chrome is great for what he is looking for.

Thinking about saving some more dollars and get the Flex
And if i needed the laptop asap ill get the chromebook it seems good altho I got a master PC 32GB Ram and gtx980 so my parents wouldn't give me any more money the paid a lot for my desktop
