and 7 + (20+10) =
7 + (30) = 37 since the addition separates them

is
2+3 + x 4 +5
So the answer would be 5 x 9 not 5 + 9

This is right, not Brackets mean times. Brackets don't mean anything besides "Do this part first". In maths you don't write the multiplication sign in some places. when you said 6(6) that's times. Only because WE LEFT OUT THE MULTIPLICATION SIGN because we could at this time.

You did it like the most longest way possible. You can solve it in 2 steps:
48÷2(9+3)=
48÷2x12=
24x12=288


There's only 1 correct answer in this type of math question and its 288.

24(12)
24*12=288
but
48/(2(12))=2

I'd go with 288 because casio calcs are bound to be better than a calculator from texas.
