OT: I do, in fact, believe that our generation is going to bring huge changes to the world. Although some can make us look like the worst/dumbest generation to ever live, I do not recall a time in history when you saw this many teensng adults stand up for something. We may use violence, but a lot of the times, it is what makes the government, or any organization, take the issue serious.

I love the negative outlook that is portrayed on our generation but yet this generation is the one with the most social advances compared to past ones, the human race (albeit not everybody) is much more open-minded then ever before when it comes to equality and we've advanced in so much more than just social aspects. Child mortality rates have been slashed to miniscule numbers, more and more people everyday get access to clean water thanks to the advances of science. It pisses me off with the whole "Our generation is fucked" mentality.

I was born in 90. I just straight up have a hatred for mankind. I'd probably say it's a mix between Philosophical pessimism, and being a Misanthrope. I just really think people make life out to be something it's not. To me, unless you're doing something drastic or inventing something insane that helps for the greater good, you're but a waste of oxygen, food, and space. I'm really cynical, too. I mean let's be honest here, you live and you die. That is it. There's no "real" purpose. Humans are like parasites.

It's asinine when parents say that to their children or other youth, because they're generation raised ours. When put into perspective, its not really entirely this generation's fault.

Plus, every gen has it's flaws, as mentioned earlier.
