    Question OVerclocking: Safe Or Not?

Hi, I'd like to know exactly how safe would it be for me to overclock my GPU + CPU + Ram. IF done right, does it affect their lifespan or not? Also I assume some proper cooling system would be required?

Yes and no. It depends on the over clock. If you get to a higher frequency like say 4.6 or 4.8 then yes life span is going to be affected, but it also depends on if you're running the over clock at a 24/7 thing, as in you forced the clocks to run at 4.6 or 4.8 at all times, rather than when under load. You can make it to where it will only run that way when under load. Also, depends on if you're running adaptive mode or not. Without adaptive mode, an application can make it use more volts than it is actually at. So say you put the voltages at 1.2 at a 4.6 over clock, and and application makes it draw more than 1.2.. Well, that could be bad, really bad. But, that is where adaptive mode comes in(This is all in your bios).

But to sum it all up, it depends on your chip, your quality of cooling, and really... You're pushing it to run out of spec, so you're getting more performance than what you would normally get, thus you're going to affect the life in most cases. However, if you buy the intel plan if you fuck your CPU, you can get a free replacement(Haswell only, as far as I am aware).
    Computer Specifications:
    Case: NZXT H500i
    PSU: EVGA SuperNova 750W
    Mobo: Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Ultra
    CPU: Intel Core i7-9700K
    CPU Cooling: Kraken x62
    RAM: Gigabyte Aorus 16GB(8x2)3200Mhz
    GPU: Asus 1080 Strix

It's going to hurt whatever compenent whatever way.
However, doing it in like a super small one will probably wont have much affect, its just based on current and future factors, such as temperatures, loads, etc.

As long as you know what you're doing, aren't overclocking too aggressively, and have adequate cooling, you shouldn't run into any problems. There are plenty of videos on YouTube which show how to overclock if you're unsure

There is no much point in overclocking RAM,CPU only if you have great cooling for it and decent MOBO,and for GPU,it depends what do you have ?

I would only do it if you need something done quickly, or else you could risk overheating and ruin your hardware.

If you got the money to replace parts no problem. Water Cooling and 9 fans. Should be fine.

Make sure you have some good cooling and not using the standard stock fan you should maybe invest into something like water cooling or maybe some other fan.
And overclocking MIGHT harm your components but if you are careful and not extreme overclock you should be fine most of the times.
For example i'm running a Corsair H100i water cooling and my stock clock is 3.8Ghz on my CPU but i have increased it to 4.5Ghz and it seems to be at stable 35°C when i'm just surfing around the web. But when i play games i usally go up to about 60-70°C.

LOL ! What are you talking about ? That makes no sense and is 100000% false,OC of CPU can effect your games FPS.
