Is it quite low? or would you say lots of players are being banned?

Yes you can get banned, However, The chance of it happening is very low. I don't think VAC has blacklisted any modules or anything, Correct me If I'm wrong! You can only get banned for BaconBot, Correct me If I'm wrong, That cheat was a beast wasn't it? that's why VAC needed to blacklist it? xD.

The simple answer is: Yes, You can get banned, but from the servers. The last ban wave was 3 years ago. Me and my friends were using public modules and lua menus for over 7 months now. No VAC or GAC (GAC = Garry's Mod Anti Cheat) ban yet. And no this guy that said you can get banned everytime you inject a lua menu is wrong, you can only get banned if the server has an anti cheat that detects your bypass (sv_allowcslua 1). Correct me If I'm wrong guys! I'm not a professional!

tbh you have about a 0.1% chance of being banned, the only modules that are blacklisted are gmcl_bbot and gmcl_deco, if you don't use either of those (both are broken anyway), you're fine. Also don't use sethhack.
