Textures on Mac

Hey guys

Im new here to the forum and wanted to try out some textures, but I have some difficulty installing since im playing on mac.
Ive localized my game files and downloaded the textures, but I cant seem to find a program on mac which can open .iwd files?

Would really appreciate some help. Thanks!

on pc you can open them with winrar and 7zip so maybe something simular

Yes, thanks for the reply, I have several programs similar to winrar on my mac, "the unarchiver" or "rar extractor". the thing is, I can only extract the .iwd file, it then extracts a folder called images into the "main" of my game files. Then I can copy my skins/player colours etc. and replace the original files in the "images"-folder. But then im stuck on a folder, and I cant compress it back to a .iwd file

Can you not just open a .iwd file with pakspace on windows, and simply replace the files you need, without extracting a folder first? Is the same procedure possible on mac somehow?

edit: I also tried the trick, where you after replacing the files, compress the folder into .zip and then change the suffix to .iwd. but that gives me an error when starting the game, something like systemcfg couldnt load, please be sure the game is starting from the correc folder etc.

Do you have a PC? What if you took the IWD files and put them on a USB Flash drive? You could put them onto a PC and just edit them there, then move them back.
