    Edit your host file (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts):

    65.254.62.146 www.minecraft.net
    65.254.62.146 server.mojang.com

    Extract .minecraft.rar contents to %appdir% (EXAMPLE: C:\Users\Dave\AppData\Roaming\)
    Start minecraft.exe anywhere.
    Use your mpgh login to login.
    Multiplayer: Connect to mc1.mpgh.net

    Is the download not working for anyone?
    Edit : Tried downloading the cracked minecraft 1.3_01 from a torrent, it said I wasn't a premium user.
