Angry How to make your server public (accessible from other PCs)

    Uhh... I'm a bit tired.
    Anyways, I'll write the steps:
    1. Change the IP in the client with Yogda or whatever (https://www.mpgh.net/forum/720-realm-...ur-client.html)
    2. Port-forward the ports needed by the server from the router (2050, 843, 80) OR disable the firewall (local area network/Home one, useful if you're using Hamachi)
    3. Give the modified client to the players
    4. From the server code, you have to edit the server's DNS in server>char>list.cs from 127.0.0.1 to the address the client uses to connect to you (for example, not 127.0.0.1, but 172.111.153.24 - if using Hamachi, open the UI and copypaste your IP)
    5. Start both the server's executables (in the way you usually do)
    6. Try to play from the remote clients

It should work. I tried it in LAN, and it's extremely (EXTREMELY!) laggy (mainly jitter). Oh well.
Have fun, please click Thanks if this helped you and/or you would like more content from me or you want to prevent me from not making my progress public. Thank you!

@CrazyJani From Windows 7, Control Panel>Security>Firewall>Disable Firewall (Local Area Network) @mountainman I don't use Hamachi, and I won't ever. If you are not experienced enough to make it work by yourself, then you shoudn't even try.

@ZBORNOX Thank you. Too bad many people don't appreciate my work (like these kids that wander around just asking for already-done things). :(

@73scunev "but it's laggy" Did you read the whole post or are you just a stereotyped russian? Also, I don't care I can do it with Windows 8 too, Windows 8 is a gay OS for gay mobile phones.

@gainb You didn't do something right. Did you disable the firewall?

Yes, firewall disabled, client IP changed to mine. List.cs IP changed, port 80 forwarded.

EDIT: Does it matter that it's not LAN? I want my friend, who is at HIS home to connect to me OR the fact that I edited list.cs in Dreamweaver?

@gainb You have to port forward ports 80, 2050 and 843.

@gainb If you can't do it, don't do it.
