When it comes down to Skype. Skype uses 256 bit AES encryption to process things such as logging in. AES encryption can't be bruteforced (technically it can, but it'd take a lifetime), neither is there a possibility to bruteforce an account at Skype, your IP would get blacklisted instantly. So in the rare case people do get hacked, it's because they have been keylogged. And I wouldn't know any programmer that won't check an executable from unknown source before executing it. Hell, it's the only reason I still have OllyDBG sitting on my desktop.
