If i were you though, id start off making something in visual basic.
C++ might be alittle hard first starting out. I'm new to C++ myself but i know C# and vb very well.

You can make hacks that dont need an injector but not for crossfire.
xtrap blocks read/write api so you need direct access to the memory.

You need to make dll hacks for CF, so an injector is needed.
