I am afraid I can't help you with it really, doesn't Crossfire have some kind of Support, and/or Help Forum? That would be your best bet

What OS are you running now?
You can just re-install Windows from a CD (quite easy to do with Windows 7), make sure you google first how to keep files, if you plan on keeping some.
