They aren't that good, mate.
The first one is pretty bland, and the plate splatter isn't attractive at all.
I just don't know what the hell happened on the second one.

Look, don't be a fucking prick. Look at tutorials. Do them. Learn techniques. You can't get better and create your own style if you don't know how to use the program.

Advice:
Don't spend 10-20 minutes on a signature. Take your time damn it.

I would put a slight purple tint to the colors coming you of the engines just to see if it looks better. They stand out quite a bit.

To add onto what Ryan said, how you used your C4D's are virtually pointless. I'm not trying to hate on you or anything by any means. Just read some tutorials man. Download some C4D packs. Read up on...

The C4D's look bad. Work on blending, creating flow, lighting, depth, you know all that jazz. And yeah without a focal point there's no point in the piece. It's just space.

I don't like all the colors. Distracts me from the focal yo. My eyes move everywhere.

How can you see where he didn't blur it? Do you have the .PSD?
