Well I got VAC banned after Im guessing its because used one of the stat hacks from here.

It's only "ban able" if you make it obvious that you are cheating, you'll be fine as long as you don't

shoot through the walls
follow enemy players through the walls without an UAV...

The cheat itself is undetectable, as for the question of one getting banned by using it? Sure. Only if you make it obvious that you are cheating ei:

-Shooting through walls
-Following the enemy...
