Did you get any emails through about a investigation from the cis team?

Call back and say that you actually found the item and that you can cancel the investigation.

If you just say you didn't recieve anything at all they will investigae 90% of the time. You should have just said you recieved something wrong.

What horrible advice, don't recommend shit to people if you don't know anything about refunding.

OP, just call again. $500 is doable without an investigation and your acc will not be blocked.
