Crosshairs?

okay, so ive downloaded about 3 crosshairs from mpgh, and none of them seem to work, they show up on my screen but its not properly centred? any one know how to fix this in vb?
I also tried making my own crosshair, and i did make it when i check on, it shows my crosshair, but it is not in the middle, is this because warrock purposly put it out place so people didnt use crosshairs???
