    Fireteam: Cabin Fever

This guide is for people that don't already know what to do during a game of Fireteam this guide is still not 100% complete, if you have anything to add please post.

Last edited on the 27th December 09 - Note: This might be incorrect for you because I live in Australia.

Make sure you have a full room before starting a game.

Wave One- Wave Ten: Pair up in two's and find a door, there should be two people left over. They will be assisting at windows or doors, swap over with teammates if they get tired. At round 5, the white zombies should start spawning, they aim for the head so watch out. If they are close move away while shooting. At the end of round 10, the doorway to downstairs open two white zombies 1 normal zombie and a blue guy comes out. Get four people to defend the two doors that aren't near the doorway to downstairs while the other four players shoot the zombies inside the house. After beating the zombies inside the house two players go downstairs and defend the zombies from getting up into the house. While the other two defend the left over door. Downstairs there should be a l96A1 Black Magnum, that can be picked up. Only use that magnum to kill the blue guys, they should spawn from round 11+.

Wave Eleven - Wave Thirteen: Continue with the formation you are in. At wave 13 an m32 launcher spawns downstairs where the magnum was, in the wooden box.

Wave Fourteen - Wave Sixteen: Continue with your formation once again until wave 16, At the beginning of that round the stairways going up open. Whoever took the m32 stands a decent distance away from the stairs and blow up the first wave of zombies going down. Then he continues to destroy the zombies until there is no more. Upstairs lies a Golden Punisher located to the right.

Wave Seventeen - Wave Eighteen: Keep fighting off the zombies doing the same routine throughout the rest of the game. During wave eighteen a Napalm spawns where the golden shotgun is, use it wisely.

Wave Eighteen - Wave Twenty: These are the final rounds, Use most of the weaponary your team has collected during the earlier rounds to good use. The spawns become greater, and harder.
On round 20 upstairs in the wooden box lies a mini-gun.

How to use the weapon provided in the wooden boxes effectively.
L96A1 Magnum - Wave 11; Downstairs : Use the ammo only for the blue guys, aim for the head it is a 2 hit KO.

M32 - Wave 13; Downstairs : Use it to defend the stairways leading up on wave 16. (use the left over ammo on anything you want)

Golden Punisher - Wave 16; Upstairs : I don't see use of this, but its a 1 hit KO (on anything but blue guys) if you right click.

Napalm - Wave 18; Upstairs : Very useful on levels onwards, use it on big mobs to clear them out.

Mini-Gun - Wave 20; Upstairs : Very effective against huge mobs, It takes a while to load up but is really good at slimming down those mobs, lure them downstairs/upstairs and spray down/up at them.

How to defend yourselves against harder zombies.
Normal Zombies: These are easy to defend, of course like all zombies they charge when they are close enough to see you. Aim for the head, and you'll be fine. If your in range of being hit by them move back while shooting, Or run like a girl while your partner you should be pared up with saves your ass.

    Zombies that explode:
Like normal zombies, aim for the head and move back when they are getting close. When they die they deal damage if your in range of their explosion.

    White Zombies:
Aim for the head, i cannot stress about this. These zombies will explode and drop three round things.. (not sure what they're) Those things will soon explode a second or so later. They deal from 3 - 20 dmg depending on how many hit you and how close you are. Run away from them, a little bit of health can help you survive.

Blue Zombies: These badass zombies are hard to kill and deal 50+ dmg each hit. Aim for the head, for more accuracy click fast, instead of holding. This is where you get a magnum and 2 hit KO them. Inform the person with the magnum to there are blue guys at the place you see them.

    Game Modes, Rounds, Rewards.
    * Normal = 10 Waves of Infected; No reward

    * Hard = 15 Waves of Infected; Reward is a Infected Host Mask - 50% Headshot Protection & 20% Sprint Stamina.

    * Extreme = 20 waves of Infected; Reward is a Infected Mask Guard - 50% Gas Protection & 30% HeadShot Protection.

    Endings
    * Normal- Ending cutscene - The basement door breaks opens.
    * Hard- Ending cutscene- The fence blocking the stairs is torn off.
    * Extreme- Ending cutscene- The remaining double agents get rescued by the helicopter. Moments later, they start to blank out. To the dismay of the rescue team; one by one, the survivors wake up just in time to mutate into Infected.

    Finding Zombies faster
If its getting close to the end of the round, press M to find out where the last few zombies are, its hard to use a first but you get used to it. Zombies are marked orange, you can charge towards the zombies or remain at your position. Some people dis-like ksing so stay at you door, just inform someone where the zombies are.

I think that's all the zombies, and Its getting close to the end of my guide.
Plan who takes what weapon before that round comes, don't fight, but choose whoever is most effective with that weapon. Don't all go charging to the weapon, attitudes like first one there gets it can ruin your teamwork. Think about it, if a few people go rushing down there doors will be left open.

It would be useful if someone in the team had a mic and used Vivox to inform others what potential threats are close to them, i see time to time people getting hurt from behind because people can't type fast enough or have a mic to warn someone.

If i left anything out or you're unsure about something post.
Thanks for reading my guide and i will keep updating it if i find anything useful, thank me if i helped.

    Good Luck ~
