Modding MW3 (&2) Killstreak Images

I have an issue in that I want to use the MW3 Killstreak files for MW2 and if I rename them to the proper names to replace them, they appear in the killstreak selection menu like they should, but I can't get into a server because I get the error "Files Different Than Server", so I try using the IWI Fix tool and CRC Fixing, but all that does is corrupt the images. I know that I can try editing the images and that I have to save in RGBA 32 Bit, but I don't know what the setting is on the Nvidia DDS Photoshop plugin. I just want to be able to edit the MW2 and 3 killstreak files, please help.

Because I just love screwing around in photoshop and customizing my game. I also wanted to try to have MW3 kilstreak images in MW2, and vice versa. I just really love customizing my game
