Did AVA shutdown for a while or is this just an overall improvement to the game?
"START OF FULL LIVE SERVICE, A NEW UPDATE, AND FORTUNE STARS SEASON 7!
En Masse is pleased to announce the start of live service for Alliance of Valiant Arms, starting Thursday, September 22 at 10 a.m. PDT.
After a brief maintenance, AVA will launch with a new update that includes substantial graphical improvements and new effects, as well as various improvements to the UI, including updates to the match results screen, Quick Match UI, server list, and more.
The update will also debut a new play format: Marksman Aces. This sniper-only mode pits teams of four against each other in an expansive urban landscape, and is available in the Quick Match channel.
But that’s not all to look forward to! Fortune Stars season 7 begins the same day, running through Monday, October 31 at 10:59 p.m. PDT. Season 7 features exclusive Dreamcatcher items, including a special edition M4A1. For a look at all the Fortune Stars content, check out our Fortune Stars Season 7 game guide.
This launch concludes phase one of our AVA support. With our technology now established and verified, we now move forward in a more service-focused direction. Red Duck has a lot of new features planned through the end of the year, and EME is working on events like a clan championship season and a web store.
So join us on Thursday and help kick off the newest chapter in the AVA story!"
