okay, so 10 fingers equals a hand (h) and 1 finger equals finger(f)
so, mathematically speaking:

5f=h
so,
h/5 = f

but then, if you divide h/5, you get 4 and 2/2. (if you actually cut your hands in FIVE parts, you'l get 4 fingers and 2 halfes of a finger, but if you divide a hand by 4 parts, then you'll get 5 fingers )

so, therefore

h/5=4 + 2/2

so, therefore...

f= h/5 =4 + 2/2

but

f=h/5 = 4 + 2/2 is not the same as h=5

so your addition with fingers is a fail
