people pack - protect there cheat (including crypting certain parts and various techonliges avaibale) etc , theese guys actually care about there work and there are many reasons why they would do this, hint: anticheat .......

some people here, ive seen, just compiling other peoples bases and already avaibale resources etc
and stick a mark of there own ..etc etc they dont have a clue much on protection methods or just want it out there real quick of someones work

Well you said most coders do that. And they don't because most "coders", as you said, work on public bases and just tweak a few features and add their name.

On mpgh there are post bans where you get banned after a certain amount of posts . Basically just a vacation for the person who has gotten the ban

lets put it in simpler words for you seeming as you dont know much about this ^^,
you wont be able te "hex edit" text in "a picture".
you can try resource hacker and you can its possible to view Bitmap, GIF, JPG etc and edit
