It seems like you just discovered layer styles, lol. Nothing wrong with using them, but you always want to practice moderation when you DO use them because they can end up looking pretty tacky pretty quick. Unfortunately, it looks like you just turned on Bevel & Emboss and cranked everything up to 11. That's not a good thing. Similarly, the shadow settings seem very default and don't look like they've been fine tuned. Ultimately, it's just distracting.

The composition is ok for a banner or whatever, though the tagline being so close to and hovering over the main logo makes it just look odd and random.

The font choice for the main logo is nice, but the sudden change in style when you get to the tagline is just weird. We go from a sort of "techy", electronic style to some sort of goth, hardcore, spiky style font that looks like it was created by some kid with an awful Metallica cover band. It just clashes. The colors are ok, but they don't really pop out at me. Everything seems too dark and hidden underneath random texture. I just don't get it.

With some fine tuning, it could be a decent logo. However, it's simple design seems almost not worth the time of trying to save it. This is one of those occasions where you might want to go ahead and throw out the baby with the bath water.

Overall: 4.5/10. Needs work, but it hardly seems worth it.

all i can see a simple font + layer style on it.
try in future to use shapes/in tool in over to make it looks more advanced
using a text not always gonna make a logo

Looks good but like Clastic said, the T looks kinda funny.

You used outer bevel, texture on a custom font is that it?
Well its getting a bit weirda but its medium IMO.
Since its a logo IMO should be something simple. Try smooth corners and if you dont feel like using one color to fill the text, use a simple gradient.

I think the font is a little odd for starters, and I agree with the other posts about the "T" being weird. I think it'd look better if all the letters were filled in with color, rather than having the MPGH being blank.
