    i can convert the ltb's just fine...
    i can open them up in model edit no problem
    YOU CANNOT CHANGE THE WAY THE MODELS LOOK IN MODEL EDIT


    =useless

    although you CAN alter the animation ( ithink)

    you instead of reloading you can make ur guy give the middle finger.......

    dont quote me on any of this cause i havnt had much time to play around with it.

    Your actually far off... Im sorry for quoting you but youd need custom animations for that... One of the easiest things you can do is make a no arms and hand mod...

    I have some plugins to import lta files to 3ds max though... so you CAN use this to edit any part of the model, including making custom animations. You just need a program that can import and export lta files.

    No new plugins or scripts though?

    I'm kinda getting tired of looking for the max 7 I lost when I had to re-install my OS a few weeks back.

    Would be convenient if you had some for max 2010/2011. :U

    I have been working on my own scripts for 3ds max, as you need to compile plugins for a specific version (and keep compiling for every new version). It works pretty decently, only a few minor bugs, but it doesn't support animations as of yet.

    @AVGN: I Guess it's just kinda personal preference. Max is defiantly powerful enough to work for CA, and Maya wouldn't add anything that Max Wouldn't. Plus I Learned on Max so I'm used to it and I like it better
