I still think manual is better than this

Especially as the game gets faster which is better for me since I often do the glitch too early and thus have to spam it over the course of a couple minutes.

I know that feel bro! Have to do it like 10-12 times for the same item to get used to the delay.

of course, other wise you could complain to AE and say it was an accident and you lost all, that is why the glitch is possible (at the moment)

Uhm, Of Course? I Mean, This Method Is To "Save" The Required Items For Merge Like "Legion Token" So It Won't Be Consumed When The Item Goes To Our Inventory.
Not Exploiting By Merging Without Anything, That's Just Like Buying AC Items Without ACs At All.

This Thread Main Topic Is To "Merge Items WITHOUT Consuming Them" Not "Merge Items WITHOUT The Required Items". So, Please Don't Get Confused With This.
Autohotkey Main Purpose Is To Close Your Game Tab The Moment You "Merge" It And The Required Items Won't Be Consumed While You Getting The Items That You Merged, Not "Exploit The Required Items" When You Don't Even Have It.

I've been trying and failing for a while now, it worked fine a few days ago, and then yesterday I wasn't able to get the Ascended Paladin stuff at all. Have a couple of buddies who experienced the same, but according the the above post, maybe they just extended the time from ~250 to 500, which is what is throwing me off?

It really depends on how many reagents you need to get the item you want.
If it's only one reagent(like Legion Tokens) then it may take as quick as 100ms or sometimes even 90ms.
Something with 5 or more reagents needed(like Golden Hanzo Void) can be much more forgiving with 500±ms.

The thing is though is that its much better to do this glitch manually than trying to rely on an autoscript.
If you're too fast then you won't gain anything, but you wont lose anything either.
