I can't enjoy it when I can see a drastic difference between 30 and 60. Maybe just me though.

Well, seeing as how some other dinosaur survival games turned out. I'm somewhat skeptical of ARK. But eh can't judge it without trying it.

It's not locked to 30 FPS, you can easily run 60+ FPS depending on hardware and settings. That said, a tremendous number of performance optimizations are to come in the days ahead

The game will run at as many fps as you can possibly make it, just depends on your settings.

As Drake said, we're going to be doing a lot of perf work in the coming days. You will struggle for 30fps @1080p on anything but the absolute best hardware right now, if you're on all max/epic settings with DFAO/SSAO/etc enabled, at the moment, but we expect our performance to increase quite drastically as we improve the rendering techniques, as stronger hardware becomes less expensive, and as we further develop the methods we use to render, etc.

Lower settings yield better framerates, naturally.

Yes I have MSI 970 OC overclocked and game I'll run fine also it's the first time I'm buying a survival game lmao but this one looks good.

This game looks amazing! I've been looking for a good survival game (Something like DyingLight) but my peanut of a computer will definitely not be able to run this :/

From what I read the game has only been in development for 7 months but I could have read it wrong. A few buddies and I are leaving RoK to give this game a shot. We are hoping for a game to keep us entertained so hopefully the hype for this game doesn't fall short.

Game isn't bad guys! Runs decent on low settings with texture and view distance set to high. I'm running it at 30 fps of a gtx 680 so not bad at all. The gameplay is smooth and has a obvious natural progression and the dinosaurs are FREAKING AWESOME. Looking forward to try and get some hacks running for this game, I feel like it will be easy since everything seems to be server dependent but I'm honestly not sure needs further testing.
