What "shit" service? It works just fine for my on Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4. Website version seems to work fine for me.

If you want SHIT, look no further than FUNimation. Now THAT'S what I call shit... The interface and apps on console absolutely SUCKS. Haven't tried the website yet and not gonna bother since I canceled it months ago.

This is why I just download/torrent all my shit off [HorribleSubs], they rip directly from CR so it's always on time and etc etc but you never have to give them a dime for their shit service.

Plus, keeping the file (for me at least) is a huge plus.

The reason why the anime industry is so relatively poor is due to the lack of marketing and corporation with western/european broadcast companies and audiences.

Notice the top animes are always dubbed, and it's only the animes that Americans/Europeans like that are ranked the highest. Such as DragonBall, One Piece, Naruto, Pokemon, Cowboy bebop, Trigun, Sailor Moon, Yu yu hako show, x hunter, etc...

IF anything, we random people looking up anime are the reason why the industry is still alive and putting out anime. If they would capitalize on broadcasting rights of the vast majority of anime, establish sourced streaming services like Crunchyroll, etc... then they could make a killing. The problem is the copyright laws, you have to get a contract to air an anime, and many times broadcast companies will buy the rights to the anime like say in Hunter x Hunter 2011's case, and prevent it from being aired anywhere else for years (5 in this case). And thats just the marketing aspect of the animes, not even getting into production quality and story telling. There is a reason why the top animes are adaptations of good mangas. That's the only reason why berserk even exists, because it's source material was so good. But the problem in that situation is the animation literally cant animate all of berserk the way it should be intended to, so they did work arounds by doing things like making the entire series CGI.
