Multiplayer: Read this. You need to be a server op. Also, every non-vanilla server works a little differently. By default, TMI uses the command format /give <player> <itemID> <quantity>, which is the one used by the "stock" Minecraft server. Third-party and modded servers have different commands. Find TooManyItems.txt in the same folder as your Minecraft options.txt, your screenshots folder, etc., and change the "give-command" line as needed for your server. Available insertions are: {0} player's username, {1} item ID, {2} quantity, {3} damage. Note: Colored wool, dye, and similar items will only be available if you have {3} in your give command. The default server doesn't support it.

Install the village mod, and make sure it doesnt do it all the time. Do the same for this one. If they each work on their own, it probably means the mods are not compatible.

Sometimes the mods arnt compatable with other mods becuase they use the same cass files :/

You can force update the game and download a fresh jar using this client:

Or if you have an account just delete your bin folder and run your client and sign in. Ill download each mod and see if there is any incompatibilities though.

There was no immediate conflicts, but ill test it in my game when I get home from work later today.

You either installed a conflicting mod, or pushed the 'o' key at some point. Hit 'o' again to toggle it.

I'm a noob at minecraft so dont call me out when I ask this. How do I install the mod? The instructions said to drag the files into the minecraft.jar, but a .jar is an executable, so how do I do this?

Right click open the jar with either 7zip or Winrar.
