I had the same problem I have had many accounts banend but jagex seems not to care i send them messages and dont get nothing back or just a plain no lol

Hahaha, this reminds me of myself..... This is me trying to appeal for a perm mute, for the second time....

Dear Jagex,

I was playing Runescape while my friend was watching me play the game. I went outside for awhile to help my dad. When i came back, he was trying to advertise his illegal website that he made to take peoples accounts. He did this on my account because he was mad at me for from the day before and wanted to get back a me for something i found fun and enjoyable in. I am very sorry for not being more protective of my account and not logging out when i am away for a short period of time. I would like to be able to prove you wrong and that i am a good player and can help many others by what i have learned from the game over the years. Next time when something like this happens, i will do the right thing and log out and i will ignore players who are trying to aggravate me and report them. I hope you can understand.

They denied me..... and send a big forum letter saying that they are assholes.

Also, the first time I tried to appeal it was 28-Aug-2006 and the second time it was 06-Jun-2010 and they sent the exact same message to me both times.

LOL i got banned on my WC pure... made another one with 72 wc in 1 day.... JAGEX THINKS THEY CAN STOP ME

Mutes are really annoying, I practically get a 24 hour mute everytime I say 'Doubling Money'. xD

Thats my opinion on it, Jagex bans one of my accounts, now I have 5 f2p accounts running all training/money making with different skills. I got one WC bot, one fishing, one mining, one combat, and one runecrafting.
