BO2: Profile Setting/Config Files

For those whom it may concern...
If someone were to open these files up for editing it would open up a WHOLE new world for hacking. We're talking like PRIVATE hacks, these are the core game flies which would allow immense editing for mods and/or HACKS

Should be able to get a universal decryption going next weekend, Gona take me hours ;D so I shall see if I can disable the Re-Cryption *Ain't even a word ;D* every time it runs BO2.

I may not be able to do anything with these myself, but so I can at least feel somewhat useful, here for all intents and purposes on decrpyting the config files ect are all of the files included in the 'players' folder. From the looks of it, there are seperate files for zombies, multiplayer, and campaign, aswell as button binds and actual optional settings(this is purely based on assumptions from the original files names). Good luck.

These files are ENCRYPTED, the purpose of this post is to distribute them to people who do not have the game yet so they can possibly figure out how to decrypt them. Sorry if you thought the post was misleading.

I haven't seen anything on this, so here's what I figured out:

Just from intuition and guessing, this is probably a hex-level decryption.

Open any bindings file, and you see this at the beginning:

"// generated by Call of Duty, do not modify"

So, in hex, that translates to:

2F2F2067656E6572617465642062792043616C6C206F662044 7574792C20646F206E6F74206D6F64696679

I opened various other files hoping for clues, and in User_ZM and User_MP, they both have the same string of hex at the beginning, which is probably an encoded copy of the lines above:

659A4881AA9DEB579F1175DF5D671B32D20D1CD4DE00457435 3D26F2243FE51E20B5BDB9886C93B53FFD0C

I have *NO CLUE* how to go about deciphering things, and I honestly can't help any further, but this should be a start for you cryptography types

I just decrypted it is was really easy for me I will be making hacks for this game soon.
