let's just put it this way;

the US pretty much essentially owns the world economy at the moment, purely through debt. if all countries stop expecting or stop getting paid back their debt, the world economy "loses" $20 trillion, instantly, and say hello to worldwide economic collapse for at least half a decade, you'll see the Great Depression on a global scale.

china loses literally 2/3 of it's foreign exchange value, all chinese export prices rise drastically to compensate, jobs are lost literally country-wide in america, large global companies like mcdonalds and coca cola are required to cut wages to compensate, the world's backup currency, the "dollar" is now useless, causing all investors to pull out and here comes the collapse.

I think it's very likely there will be a Third World War because there has been a lot of tension between countries lately. The same thing happened before WWI aswell as WWII.
