Percentage of total population who have a BMI (body mass index) greater than 30 Kg/sq.meters (Data for Australia, Austria and Portugal is from 2002. All other data is from 2003). Obesity rates are defined as the percentage of the population with a Body Mass Index (BMI) over 30. The BMI is a single number that evaluates an individual's weight status in relation to height (weight/height2, with weight in kilograms and height in metres). For Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States, figures are based on health examinations, rather than self-reported information. Obesity estimates derived from health examinations are generally higher and more reliable than those coming from self-reports, because they preclude any misreporting of people's height and weight. However, health examinations are only conducted regularly in a few countries (

Fail, that is the total population who is obese, Canada is lower because of the smaller population, try again.

I found an updated list, and United States is not the top fattest country:
    Rank Country %
    1. Nauru 94.5
    2. Micronesia, Federated States of 91.1
    3. Cook Islands 90.9
    4. Tonga 90.8
    5. Niue 81.7
    6. Samoa 80.4
    7. Palau 78.4
    8. Kuwait 74.2
    9. United States 74.1
    10. Kiribati 73.6

Canada is just under: 35. Canada 61.1%

Your country is not less 'fat' compare to America, 61% of the total population. True, United States is higher, but remember the total population is higher as well.

Greece, is not ranked the top five, the top five fattest countries are all in the Pacific area.

Most of the islands foods are imported, so they can't grow crops or fish as well as we can.

Don't see much different in the USA, though I am patriotic, it's nothing like what our founding fathers wanted, imho.

But when I went up to Canada, I really enjoyed it.
