You people are too soft if you really got upset about the puppy one.
A LOT of breeders kill portions of their litters.

Think about it, a dog has 6-10 puppies
Have 2-3 dogs breeding, thats at LEAST 20 puppies every few years
Do you know how much food you would need? How much space?
Most of the time, 3-4 pups dont even get sold and you end up having keep them and raise them

I think what she did was better than what my aunt told me how she did it back when, she would just put a few in a 5 gallon bucket and turn a hose in it.

But throwing them is the inhumane part, why not just kill them humanely like using gas, injection, or a quick and simple snap-of-the-neck. Why do you have to throw them in the river, causing them to fight for their lives, and ultimately drown in the end.

gas? injection? how is a normal person going to get ahold of those. an the gas sounds like the most inhumane way to go
the whole point of killin off the extra in the litter is to SAVE money, not waste it putting them down
your saying you would rather kill them with your bare hands, hold them as they die, rather than not only quickly end their lives but also not have to deal with lookin at a bunch of dead puppies

Its a quicker way to die. and more painless if you snap the neck quickly instead of letting them drown
Its better to see them and know that they didnt suffer when they died, instead of knowing and engraving it in your conscience that you threw a bunch of puppies into a river, making them suffer.
