I like both. Tried both Apple and Andriod. Both awesome platforms. Andriod has slightly more oppertunity for customization though. On the other hand, if you jailbreak, then the playing fields can be almost considered even.
This is said a lot but most people don't provide a reason. So who's side are you leaning towards... Apple or Android?
Give a reason to back you up.

Lol, I hate questions like this. That's like asking what flavor is better- vanilla or chocolate?
Get whatever you like and makes you happy.
I like Android more. I like the usability, feel of it, look and the fact that there are a lot less limits to what I can do with it than I can with iOS.

OSx is just too closed for my liking. The fact you need to go out of warranty to get control of your device shows that there could possibly be something shady going on. The same can be said about android providers, but not the base operating system itself. Bloatware that comes with most devices are indeed shifty, but can easily be removed.
Also, I do prefer the ability to not have to sync my files up with a trashy program, and can treat it like a windows storage device.
I haven't been on here in 4 years...
Also had both , I prefer iOS over Android , a lot more stable and a lot less buggy than android.
Apple is overpriced shit, but is more appealing than android.
I like apple look's more clean imo ..
Android, because very much functions
Android for me.
I have all my phones, current and before all rooted and installed custom roms to it.
it's so much customization available that the iphone just doesn't offer.
heck is can even overclock my own device how cool is that
Apple. Stability and security
Android, cheaper and just as good.
Android here goes the reason.
1.) Wayy more choices
2.) Price range
3.) Usability without jailbreak
4.) Dev can do much more on android
5.) You can get more free shit without jailbreaking
6.) Widgets is not even a comparision
7.) Multi tasking is complete and utter shit on iphone
8.) Roms make a huge difference for me
9.) LOL google basically is behind android and the way google is progressing Iphone will be old news soon
10.) There is more apps and games and what not on android PLUS you can download third party and amzon apps.
11.) The release and glitch fixed and updates are soo much more faster then IPhones

Honestly. There's no side to properly choose. It depends on what you want.
If you want a device that you unbox and can use instantly, then you go with Apple.
If you want to set your device up and have "no limits" with doing what you want, then Android is the thing.
If you want neither of the above and just have a pain in the ass experience, then get a Windows Phone.
I personally am rolling with Android and always will be. I held a iPhone 4S in my hands and it was just damn awful. It had some funny stuff like Siri but I gave it back to my friend after one day of use after I saw just how impractical it was. I didn't have any sort of customization capability as on a Android (Even 4.3 Jelly Bean was better then iOS at that time) and I stayed with my S3. Now I'm rolling with my S7 Edge, loving it so much with it's curved front and having a quite good DAC build in. Plus if I don't want to have a Samsung Phone, I have so many different companies to choose from. But if somebody's sick of Apple but wants iOS...tough luck.
