Yea people! Legend of Korra has been released. It was released last week but oh well.

The true identity of Amon is Noatak, he is Tarrlok's brother. He made up a false story about himself and become equalist. He is a actual water/blood bender. Then after he was defeated by Avatar Korra, Amon and Tarrlok ran away. Sadly, Tarrlok use an equalist to kill he and his brother. Korra was unable to bend until Avatar Aang gave her back all her elements: Water, Earth, and Fire. She also mastered the air element while fighting Amon.

Amon uses his blood bending to take other's bending away Korra now have ability to give people their bending back. Lin Beifong have her metal and earth bending back ]

There is 10 more episodes in Book Air. Original one is also kewl but this one is better. Aang looks funny. And toph keeps calling him twinkle toes.

I'm going to have to disagree with you. The original avatar had plot, action, and a better mood all around.

This one starts out with no real plot till amon shows up, they play a crappy game for half the episodes, and then the whole amon thing is just so badly done its almost amazing how bad they handled it(Amon being a blood bender, i.e. stupidly hypocritical, anything he did was undone because korra meaning the entire 12 episodes in plot was basically nullified.)

The original avatar has a plot that goes on for three seasons, this one has a plot that doesn't start off till a couple episodes in and is ended at episode 12.

I love avatar, but korra could be replaced with any generic element control anime and it would be just the same. The any real connection it has to the other avatar is the lineage.

:/ I thought that was the chi blocker stuff. But in all honesty since the entirety of "taking away bending" was only permitted to aang because of his connection with the spirit world(which again, not present at all yet in korra).

I also think that amon being a blood bender makes him a significantly less badass character.
