Legit player banned cause of Ban wave?

Im seeing a few people mention a ban wave in the buy and sell forum for dayz , I havent hacked at all on my most recent key that I got last year. Ive sent battleye an email but if they say they cant do anything then I guess ill buy a new key has any other legit players been banned over the last couple of days?

No I got it from the bohemia interactive store, the official website.

You are most likely, if not indefinitely not the only owner of that key. Previous key holders could have hacked or current ones.

In that case then no. But I have encountered a hacker before last month I took my pc around to my mates house to show him dayz and he was playing and running around outside cherno in a building. Some guy comes in looked like a fresh spawn and drops all this gear in front of him , salutes my friends character then leaves us with all this gear. But I dont see how that could get my key banned unless I missed something . we thought he was just a cooler hacker.

And one more thing. Did you download any hack from youtube or not from MPGH?

Global Ban #0f5a08 , A while back I downloaded a survival hack from here but never used it cause my virus scanner picked it up as a virus and deleted it.This was like last year.
