nice job. lol red and green would be the old school version
I just finished making chams that are red behind walls and yellow when there is no obstacle. Here is a screenshot.
As you can see, the issue is that the guns turn yellow.
Should I release this? Do you guys want different colors? I figured out how to do any two colors in any combination, so I want your feedback before I make any update to my current chams release.
EDIT: Released

Well, it turns out that making red/green is going to be much, much harder than red/yellow was. For that reason, I will be leaving it at red/yellow for the time being. It is still pretty cool.
Select Arg1/2, where Color Arg1/2 = TFactor. Thus no need for textures, but you can't use this way to have different colors for head / etc.
Also you don't need to override every thing in RS. The characters / weapons (for the most part) use Default. This leaves other things like ammo boxes without the effect and still visible.

one of you (drigien or yoda) help me out here, i don't want you to give me the answers so to speak. i just wanna learn to understand this stuff.
i understand models almost completely thanks to gtboy (and noob555..hate to admit it) and now i've hit the RS file, and don't understand it, i'd like to about as much as i do models (i really understand models too lol)
either of you help me out it'd be awesome and you would be given credit with every RS mod i ever make/release

There isn't that much to know. But I can try and help, just send me a PM about what you don't understand so we don't hijack this thread.
GJ. The nice thing about doing it this way is because there are no textures to override, you can still use them when they are in the open. (and also enhance them to make them easier to see or what not )
