Can someone help me pick out a tablet/2 in 1 laptop

Looking to buy a tablet for someone on Christmas.
Only hope that the tablet has good speakers and brightness.
Prefer if the tablet/2 in 1 laptop is goodly priced

* the person (whom i plan to give it for) would only use it to watch netflix, youtube, or videos. So i don't need like an ipad because it is capable of much more and i don't want to pay the extra $$ for no reason. Price Range - 80+ - 500$ (prefer to spend more only if it is goodly priced #blackfriday)

I am thinking of buying the amazon fire hd 10 at the moment

I own a surface pro 3. It's alright if you don't play games on it, and runs better if you undervolt using Intel XTU. You might be able to pick up a refurbished one for a good price (or a newer version if you find someone that can SE it).

I don't think you'll be able to find any decent tablets priced lower than the Fire HD.

Surface is a really good choice. I use one for uni stuff and its pretty great for presentations (using it like a piece of paper/tablet) and then using it as a laptop

I would just buy an iPad and a keyboard case if I were you, surface also works well though.

You can find the Surface ( not especially the new one ) for cheap prices but, you are up to 500$ so why don’t you take a iPad ? It’s cheap and maybe your friends will change his mind and do more thing with the tablet ( also gonna be really happy )

I don't know how people feel about Dell here, but I got a 2/in 1 laptop from dell recently with i7 processor (13 inches) - super light and it flips into a tablet ~ Inspiron 13 ~ it works well and super light weight. I use it primiarly for watching netflix and basic stuff.
